Additional Sale Notes:

The focus of our annual production sales is on providing highly productive breeding stock for commercial sheep producers. We aim to increase the number of lots in our sales each year to match the increasing demand, so that most of the lots sell at a price that gives the commercial sheep producer great value for their investment.

We invite you to contact us if you would like further info on any of the lambs, and we welcome farm visits. If you are unable to view the sale catalog on your computer or device, we can email you a copy. Simply let us know.

On the sale catalog… The LEA (Loin Eye Area) was adjusted to 135 lbs for the rams and to 125 lbs for the ewes. The Rib Fat was not adjusted.

The rams and ewes were all DNA tested and found to be RR (homozygous resistant to scrapie).

The physical address to the farm is 4450 Cromer Road Harrisonburg, VA 22802 (not the mailing address of 4260 Cromer Road). When you arrive at 4450 Cromer Road, you will see four long barns stacked down the hillside. The sale will take place in the south end of the bottom barn (the end closest to the silo/bank barn).

Sale Format: The sale will be a traditional in-person auction moving from one pen to the next down the line as each lot is sold. Auctioneer: Kervin Yoder

For those wanting to bid from a distance over the phone, please contact Radell (540-908-5399 or radellschrock@yahoo.com) ahead of time to be assigned to someone taking phone bids during the sale.

We can keep purchases at the farm for up to a week at no cost. Beyond that we can keep them for as long as necessary for $2/day room and board.

We highly recommend stopping by prior to sale day to look over the sale lambs so you can also take a look at the breeding groups of brood ewes, stud rams and the different pasture groups. Contact Radell to schedule a visit (540-908-5399 or radellschrock@yahoo.com).

The lambs are growing well! We hope to see you at the sale!
